2026 Season DOG POOL RENTAL LIABILITY WAIVER, RELEASE & RULE ACKNOWLEDGMENT

1. Acknowledgment of Risks

I acknowledge and fully understand that using the dog swimming pool and surrounding facilities involves inherent risks for both myself and my dog(s), including but not limited to:

  • Serious physical injury, drowning, or exhaustion for dogs or humans.

  • Bites, scratches, or aggressive behavior from dogs.

  • Slipping, tripping, or falling on wet surfaces, ramps, or decks.

  • Exposure to water-borne pathogens, ear infections, or skin irritations.

2. Assumption of Risk

I knowingly and freely assume all risks, both known and unknown, associated with my presence at and use of the dog pool facilities. I accept full responsibility for any injury, illness, damage, or loss incurred by me, any accompanying guests, or my dog(s).

3. Dog Health & Behavior Requirements

By signing below, I certify that my dog(s):

  • Is current on all required vaccinations (including Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella).

  • Is in good physical health, free of open wounds, contagious conditions, parasites, or active ear infections.

  • Has no history of severe aggression toward humans or other dogs.

  • Is under my direct physical control at all times during the rental period.

4. Safety Rules & Facility Conduct

I agree to strictly abide by all facility rules, including:

·        Minors & Children: Minors under the age of 16 must be accompanied and actively supervised by a parent or adult legal guardian at all times. Children are not permitted to run on the pool deck, roughhouse with dogs, or enter the pool without direct adult supervision.

  • Human Swimming: Humans enter the pool at their own risk and solely to assist their dog(s). No recreational human swimming, diving, or jumping is permitted.

  • Supervision: Dogs must never be left unattended in or around the water and only 1 dog allowed in the pool at a time. Any additional dogs must be contained in a crate when it is not their turn to swim.

  • Equipment & Toys: Only floating fetch toys approved for water use are permitted. No glass, human food, or dog treats inside the pool water.

  • Waste Cleanup: I am responsible for immediately cleaning up and disposing of any waste left by my dog on the premises. I acknowlege that there is a $100 fee if my dog goes to the bathroom in the pool or on the dock.

  • No Lifeguard/Attendant: I acknowledge that use of the facility is strictly AT MY OWN RISK.

5. Release of Liability & Indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless Dependable Companions Dog Training, its owners, officers, employees, and agents from any and all claims, demands, liabilities, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or related to any loss, injury, illness, or death sustained by me, my guests, or my dog(s) while using the facility. I further agree to indemnify and hold harmless the facility for any damage or injury caused by my dog to property or other persons.

6. Cancelation Policy

You may move/reschedule your appointment up to 24 hours before your appointment. If you cancel less than 24 hours in advance, you forfeit your payment. In case of hazardous weather such as lightning you will be permitted to reschedule.

By signing below, I express my understanding and intent that all terms, conditions, assumptions of risk, and releases contained in Section 1 through Section 5 above apply fully to my minor child(ren). On behalf of myself, my minor child(ren), and our personal representatives, heirs, and assigns, I hereby release, waive, and hold Dependable Companions Dog Training from any and all liability, claims, or demands for personal injury, illness, or property damage sustained by the minor(s) while on the premises, whether arising from the negligence of the releasees or otherwise.
